Happy Halloween!

Hello Everyone,

Unfortunately, I will not be in class today.  I hope everyone has a GREAT Halloween!  Feel free to work on Copilot's  that you have not finished yet (I will still add missing grades in if you get them done).  Most of you have not turned in Copilot #7 and #5. 

I think that Charlie and Maverick will be filming part of the Horror Film in class today and may need some of your help, so feel free to help them out if you are all caught up. 

I will be back on Thursday.  We will watch Copilot 8-part 1.

One on One Meetings

Today you will be sitting down with me and showing me your blog sites.  You will be graded on the following:

Background/text change/color choices:   15 pts
Having all 6 tabs:    20 pts
Importing the correct images and films on the correct pages:  20 pts.
Your philosophy page: How detailed is it:  15 pts.
Overall Aesthetics of the webpage: 20 pts.
Having a Gadget:  10 pts.

You will have the chance to see your 1st quarter grades and show me any Copilots you have missing.  ALL COPILOTS AND THE BLOG SITES SHOULD BE FINISHED BEFORE YOU WALK IN MY DOOR-YOU WILL NOT HAVE CLASS TIME TO WORK ON THESE.

Blog Challenge

I have a challenge for you all.  Let's see who can come up with the most interesting and unique gadgets for your blog site.  I encourage you all to go beyond the gadgets listed in the "ADD A GADGET" tab.  I found a really cool one that pertains to current film trailers.  Check it out on the right.  We can share these with the class when done.  BTW-there are more animals out there other then fish:)

 You can use your sites from last year.  I have your sites written down if you need to know your site.  Below you will see the following things that I want in your Advanced Film Blog Site.  We will take a look at your Blog site for a grade 4 times throughout the school year.  

Due by Monday 10/29/12

I will sit down and review these with you on Monday 1 on 1.

1.  You will need to have 6 different pages.

        1. Home page-This page should have a picture that describes who you are and

            explain what your site is all about.

        2. Advanced Film Video's-Copilot's you have made can go in here for 1st quarter-

           or you can create a new tab for just Copilots.  Under each Film that you upload (including Copilots) I want you to add a caption to it, explaining what the movie is about and what you believe was successful in your film. 

        3. Intro to Film Video's

        4. Good Quality Photo's you have taken-Some A-Z photos can go in here and club photos

        5. Photoshop Documents you have created-t-shirt design can go in here and banner docs

        6. Personal Philosophy/views on Filmmaking and Photography-here you will write what you think is important when it comes to Photography and Filmmaking.  I want to hear your voice on your views of what you believe are good qualities to filmmaking and Photography.  I want to hear your views and how they will change throughout the school year.  You will be adding to this throughout the school year. (of course having a photo on this page would make it more interesting as well)
